First Suez Marine has programs designed to assist employees in choosing healthier behaviours like being more physically active or quitting smoking. Campaigns to raise awareness, educational sessions to increase knowledge, opportunities to learn new skills, and changes to policies to make it easier for employees to make healthy choices are included.
At First Suez Marine, employee Health and Wellness is supported through a number of programs including a fitness reimbursement program, and free smoking cessation consultation sessions. As a part of the J. D. Irving, Limited group of companies, First Suez Marine is pleased to offer our employees a Health, Wellness and expanded Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP) called LifeWorks® - a one-stop resource that offers counseling, consultation, personalized community referrals, health and wellness information, legal advice, and much more. This service offers free, 24 hour a day, 7 days a week service for employees and their immediate families. Expert consultants assist in assessing your situation and developing a plan to resolve personal health or wellness issues. All calls are strictly confidential and First Suez Marine does not receive any information discussed or exchanged In these confidential sessions.
